B.Tech Graphics and Gaming is a 4-year undergraduate degree course. This course deals with all the traditional computer science subjects 3D Modeling, Animation, Game development. The course gives a complete overview of how the graphics is created or a game is developed. Gaming is a highly competitive sector where professionals are needed who have a good balance of creativity, fun, and technology.
The course is new and trending and offering students the opportunity to learn techniques and skills. Graphics and Gaming provide a medium to acquire relevant skills and knowledge. Aspirants get to learn the basics of game and animation programs, 3-D modeling, storytelling, 3D modeling and animation, storyboarding, and graphic design skills.
Eligibility Criteria
The student must have cleared or qualified class 12/intermediate with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks from a recognised board of education. Certain colleges provide relaxation for minimum passing marks to the reserved categories. Candidates from SC/ST category will be eligible for admission on securing 45% marks in their matric examinations.
Some colleges enroll students based on the common entrance exams while others admit students directly on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination. BTech Entrance Exams, also consider the performance of the candidate in the other all India-wide exams like JEE, for granting due admission.
